Most Small Businesses Oppose GOP Tax Plan

A Public Policy Polling poll finds that 51% of small businesses are opposed to the Republican tax bill, while 34% support the GOP tax plan. Just over half of respondents — 52% — agreed with the statement that current proposals favor large corporations over small businesses. Fifty-eight percent said it felt wealthy corporations would benefit the most.

The Hill: “Democrats lead their Republican rivals by 10.7 percent on the generic congressional ballot, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics average of available polling data. That mark is the highest the RCP’s average has gone since just before the 2010 elections, where Republicans netted 63 House seats.”
Only 22 Percent Say Franken Should Not Resign

A new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll in Minnesota finds that just 22% of Minnesotans surveyed said Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) should remain in office. Another 33% say he should resign, while 36% say he should wait for results of a Senate Ethics Committee investigation.

Alabama Police Told to Keep Moore Away from Young Women
“We were advised that he was being suspended from the mall because he would hang around the young girls that worked in the stores and, you know, really got into a place of where they say he was harassing.”
