$292,000
Amount Arkansas U.S. Senate candidate Tom Cotton (R) disbursed to Right Solutions Partners for “fund-raising consulting,” the New York Times reports. “But here’s the catch: It’s not clear that such an entity actually exists. On top of all that I have an election to win.
— Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), quoted by the New York Observer, at a press conference after his indictment on federal fraud charges.
Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I’ll throw you off this f**king balcony.
— Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), to a NY1 reporter who asked him about the investigation into his campaign finances after the State of the Union address.

You’re going to see conservatives returning the favor he gave them over the last year. There’s no love lost between Chris Christie and conservatives.
— GOP strategist Rick Wilson, quoted by National Journal, adding that Christie “goes out of his way to be a dick to other Republicans.”
