“Midterm voter turnout reached a modern high in 2018, and Generation Z, Millennials and Generation X accounted for a narrow majority of those voters,” according to a Pew Research Center analysis. “The three younger generations – those ages 18 to 53 in 2018 – reported casting 62.2 million votes, compared with 60.1 million cast by Baby Boomers and older generations. It’s not the first time the younger generations outvoted their elders: The same pattern occurred in the 2016 presidential election.”

Trump Thumped: Dems’ Net Gain in the House Is Biggest Since 1976

Don’t be like the “liberal media” and fall for Trump’s BS. He and the GOP took a thumpin’ and a shellacking on Tuesday. According to the Brookings institute, the Democrats’ net gain in the U.S. House of Representatives was the largest since Pres. Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976.

Dems Have Commanding Lead in Generic Congressional Ballot

54% to 41%

A new CNN poll finds Democrats leading Republicans on the generic congressional ballot by 54% to 41% among likely voters. “This is the widest margin of support for Democrats in a midterm cycle since 2006, when at this point, the party held a whopping 21-point lead over Republicans among likely voters. That’s also when Democrats seized control of the House from Republicans, making Nancy Pelosi speaker until 2011.”
