He bloviated 21-plus hours in his running shoes.
His wasn’t the longest,
Most important or strongest,
But he’s the only filibusterer to quote Dr. Seuss.

She Hates to Say It, But Yeah, the Tea Party is Racist
I also think, you know, just calling it, that some of this tea party anger is racist, and that having a non-black person on the ticket will diffuse it to some degree.

I Really Want to Buy Into This Slate Pitch, But …
I’m not sure I can swallow the assertion that Barack Obama is the shrewdest political tactician since LBJ, but David Corn does make a compelling case, and I really do want to believe that all this time Obama knew exactly what he was doing on Syria, Putin and the debt showdown.
I suppose he’s just being Lincoln-esque. Again …
