“A six-day immigration sweep in Florida last week resulted in the arrest of 1,120 people across the state, an operation that state and federal officials described as the largest of its kind to date and a ‘warm up’ for future immigration enforcement operations,” the Miami Herald reports. Said Gov. Ron DeSantis (R): “We believe this is just the beginning. The best is yet to come.”

If you’ve read, heard or watched the political or business news lately, you’ve probably noticed something — it’s mostly bad. Like, really bad.

But fear not! There is good news out there about the Trump administration and its historic accomplishments in its first 100 days, and you can find it on the White House Wire.

If you noticed the WHWire looks a bit like the Drudge Report, you’d be right. Matt Drudge noticed and trolled the White House on his site with: “Developing: Trump launching his own Drudge Report using taxpayer dollars!”

The content on WHWire runs the gamut from fawningly sucking up to the president to downright fabrications. Here are some headlines:

And because sometimes the supply of happy Trump news runs a little thin, the White House posts its own take on current events, with “JOBS BOOM: More Americans Working for Higher Pay,” a press release that quotes Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt as saying: “This is the second month in a row where the jobs report has beat expectations. Wages are continuing to rise and labor force participation is increasing. This is exactly what we want to see. More Americans working for higher wages. More winning is on the way!”

Trump’s Birthday Parade to Cost Tens of Millions

Detailed Army plans for a potential military parade on President Donald Trump’s birthday in June call for more than 6,600 soldiers, at least 150 vehicles, 50 helicopters, seven bands and possibly a couple thousand civilians, The Associated Press has learned. The planning documents, obtained by the AP, are dated April 29 and 30 and have not been publicly released. They represent the Army’s most recent blueprint for its long-planned 250th anniversary festival on the National Mall and the newly added element — a large military parade that Trump has long wanted but is still being discussed.

“Liz Oyer, the Justice Department’s recently fired pardon attorney, made a staggering claim on social media this week: President Donald Trump’s pardons of people convicted of white-collar crimes have cost Americans $1 billion,” the Washington Post reports. “She arrived at the number by adding up all the money that people who were pardoned allegedly owed in restitution, based on how much they were convicted of stealing.”
