Nearly 300 Fox Advertisers Have Boycotted Glenn Beck’s Show Since He Called the President a Racist

Number of advertisers who have boycotted Glenn Beck’s show on Fox since Sept. 28, 2009 — the day he accused Pres. Obama of having “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture,” and said, “I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.”

  1. In this piece, you link the word “boycotted” to a “New York Times” piece that, in fact, has no mention of the ongoing Beck boycott. Annoyingly, that N.Y. Times article is in fact a puff piece that gives Beck a easy ride and makes him appear to be a highly reasonable, even likeable fellow (instead of the evil, piece-of-sh*t, lying, hate-mongering Nazi that he in fact is).
But what do you expect from the N.Y. Times? These assholes did a puff piece on Rush, too, a while back.
Suggestion: instead of linking to the NYT puff piece, why don’t you link to a worthy site like Color of Change (which is running the admirable and effective Beck boycott).

    1. Sure, John, send me the link and I’ll update the post. The 296 number was in the NYT article, however, even if the writer could not bring himself to call it a boycott.
