The Answer to Too Many Guns is Always More Guns

NRA: “The only way to reduce the kinds of casualties seen at gun shows across the country today is more guns” #GunAppreciationDay

— @TheDailyEdge, a humor site, tweeting about the rash of negligent accidental shootings by “responsible gun owners” as they bought and sold guns on a day dreamed up by the gun lobby and rightwing extremists.

White “Nationalists” Try to Hide Behind Gun Appreciation Day

Petition smoking gun?

A couple of days ago, BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski (@BuzzFeedAndrew) tweeted this:

Is this the most racist White House petition ever created? https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/stop-white-genocide-halt-massive-third-world-immigration-and-forced-assimilation-white-countries/WVyzm59F

And here’s the petition:

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
STOP WHITE GENOCIDE: Halt MASSIVE third world immigration and FORCED assimilation in White countries!
Africa for Africans, Asia for Asians, White countries for EVERYBODY?

These gun folks’ greatest wish seems to be that someday a (black) criminal will walk through their doors and give them the golden opportunity to kill a human being with no legal consequences

White countries are being flooded with third world non-whites, and Whites are required by law to integrate with them so as to “assimilate,” i.e. intermarry and be blended out of existence.

That’s genocide by United Nations Convention, Article II, part c:

“Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”

We petition the President to end White Genocide in the United States, and to call for the end of White Genocide in Europe, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Supporting White Genocide is not anti-racist. It’s anti-white!

Signers: Please look for our three petitions each month that oppose White Genocide!

Let’s grow!

Thankfully, the petition had only 388 signatures when I first viewed it, and has only gained about 10 more in the days since.

South Florida Tea Baggers Try Re-Branding

The South Florida Tea Party has apparently done some soul searching in the two and a half months since the 2012 elections and, upon reflection, has chosen a course correction that it hopes will put it back in good stead with voters. It has opted to try re-branding:

Jolted by the re-election of President Barack Obama, the defeat of congressional tea party icon Allen West and the cracking of Republican anti-tax orthodoxy during the recent federal budget showdown, the tea party movement is trying to rebrand and repackage itself in South Florida.

The South Florida Tea Party — the group that helped Marco Rubio launch his Senate bid and that hosted Donald Trump during his last flirtation with a presidential run — is shedding the words “tea party” as it undergoes a name change.

“We felt for branding reasons that we wanted to differentiate ourselves from certain organizations that have the name ‘tea party’ and we can’t control,” said Everett Wilkinson, leader of the organization that will now be called the National Liberty Federation.

The National Liberty Foundation? Oh, yeah. Much better.

Tanking in the Polls, Florida Gov. Rick Scott Lies about His Role in Passing the GOP’s Racist Voter Suppression Law

art-assault-floridaPart of the series, Assault on Florida.

Florida’s tea party governor, Rick Scott, must be looking at some really devastating private polling — numbers even more seemingly insurmountable than results of a public poll released yesterday. That news survey from PPP found that Scott’s approval rating was upside down by a whopping 24 percentage points, 33 to 57 percent — and that former Gov. Charlie Crist, who recently joined the Democratic Party, leads him by double digits, 53 to 39 percent, in the 2014 governor’s race.

Devastating poll results could explain why the governor emulated another plutocrat pol, Mitt Romney, this week when he executed a Romney-style 180-degree flip-flop on one of his own signature issues — Florida’s racist voter suppression law.

Please Remember This Figure When Tea Baggers Start Complaining About the First Lady’s Dress

$62,692.54

What Nancy Reagan’s inaugural ball gown would cost in today’s dollars. According to CNN, the dress, a “hand-beaded gown by American couturier James Galanos, cost $22,500 and oozed the Hollywood glamour that she and her actor-turned-politician husband brought to the White House.”

Gibbs Says Obama Needs to Out-Campaign NRA

The NRA is continually trumpeting they increased their membership by ‘x’ amount in this month. The president has the most exciting campaign apparatus ever built. It’s time to turn that loose. It’s time to turn that loose for something more than just an election. If the NRA’s got a list, then Obama for America has a bigger list and it is time to get activated again.
