Voter Remorse in Florida: In Theoretical Do-Over, Dem Candidate Would Beat Gov. Scott by 19 Points

The margin of 61% to 29% by which Florida swing voters would now prefer Democratic candidate for governor Alex Sink over the Republican they helped elect in November, Gov. Rick Scott, according to a new Public Policy Polling survey. Among all voters in a do-over, Sink would best Scott by 19 points, 56% to 37%. Scott’s overall approval rating is 32-55, which compares with the 33-43 favorability rating he received in the same poll in December. Among swing voters, Scott his approval rating is 31-54.

The amount The Wisconsin Democratic Party raised in the last two months — about $250,000 more than the party raised in all of last year, Milwaukee Public Radio reports: “The Democrats have been fundraising aggressively to support efforts to recall eight Republican state senators who voted for GOP Gov. Scott Walker’s budget repair law, which takes away most collective bargaining rights for most public workers.”

After bragging he could produce his own birth certificate in one hour, Donald Trump sent a digital image of a document to Newsmax, a clearing-house for the crypto-racist birther conspiracy cabal.

Upon inspection, however, New York City officials told right-leaning Poltico.com, that the document was not the Donald’s actual birth certificate:
