The latest NPR/PBS News/Marist poll finds Democrats lead Republicans, 55% to 41%, when people were asked who they would vote for in their district if the election for Congress were held today. President Trump’s approval rating is just 39%, his lowest since right after the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

Times of Israel: Ambassador Mike Huckabee hosted a meeting at the US embassy in Jerusalem with Jonathan Pollard, the former spy who gave reams of classified American documents to Israel, The New York Times reported on Thursday…
According to the Times, it is unclear whether Huckabee got approval from the State Department ahead of the meeting. It said the meeting “alarmed” the CIA station chief in Israel, and the White House was not informed of it….
“It was a friendly meeting,” Pollard told the NYT. He said “a lot of things that came up in conversation,” while calling Trump a “madman who has literally sold us down the drain, for Saudi gold,” in apparent reference to the president’s recent decision to sell F-35 fighter jets to Riyadh.
Mile-High Civility
The U.S. DOT wants to restore “courtesy and class to air travel,”
Saying crowded flights and delays are no cause for civility to ravel.
You should “dress with respect,”
Maintain a calm, mannerly aspect,
But if they really want change, get the airlines to stop treating flyers like cattle.

We don’t know what to make of the current Marjorie Taylor Greene,
Who’s recent takes are at odds with her party, or so it would seem.
Contrary positions don’t seem to phase her —
Not QAnon, Nick Fuentes or Jewish space lasers.
But one thing’s for sure about MTG: her opinions are reliably extreme.
