As of our latest update Oct. 10, 2017, or his 264th day in office, the president has made 1,318 claims over 263 days. He has averaged five claims a day, even picking up pace since the six-month mark. … With almost exactly 100 days left to go in our year-long project, Trump is inching ever closer to breaking 2,000 claims.”

for compiling a list of bad acts performed by the president of the United States that his fellow Republicans appear to be just fine with.
Republicans used to care a lot about how a president comports himself, and whether he acts at all times with the dignity his station demands.
But hey, that was then! In 2017, there’s a whole new bar for tolerable conduct by the commander in chief. Our original guide cataloged several dozen examples. Almost five months later, it’s clear that an update is necessary. This expanded list is meant to ensure that Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and other congressional Republicans never forget what they now condone in a president.
If you are president during these dark days you may: “Mock a foreign leader with a demeaning nickname and threaten his country with nuclear annihilation over Twitter; call for the firing of ‘son of a bitch’ athletes who choose to exercise their right to free speech”; and refer to the White House as a “real dump.”
