If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: I’m thankful that the Florida legislature only convenes 60 days a year — think of the mischief lawmakers could do if they were in session more than two months!
Fortunately, the 2014 session thankfully ends tomorrow. But the mischief ain’t done yet.
Gov. Rick Scott says he wants him to resign,
And his fellow Republicans think that’d be fine.
But Trey Radel says nix —
He knows Florida politics,
You’ve got to do a lot worse than snort a few cocaine lines.
Looks like George LeMieux’s just not on the list
To remain a Senator, as he wished.
For try as he might,
His association’s too tight
With the loser who appointed him, Charlie Crist.
To hear Trump talk, he’s the only one
Who’s ever stood trial for crimes he’s done.
But instead of courtroom drama,
We get Trump in his pajamas,
That’s how he earned his new nickname: Don Snoreleone.
