Romney, Santorum and Paul Undercut Gingrich by Pulling Out of March 1 CNN Debate

Disgraced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is fundamentally devoid of the temperament or seriousness required to be president. But he has managed to survive in his quixotic bid for the presidency based on on two factors. First, his campaign has been funded almost entirely by two Super PAC donations totaling $11 million from an Israel-firster, casino owner Sheldon Adelson, and, secondly, he has racked up approval ratings by using the 19 or so debates so far to toss out red meat for the base by attacking Pres. Obama, the other candidates and the corporate media.

The fact that there haven’t been any debates in a while is starting to have an effect on the Gingrich campaign. Recent polling puts him in fourth place among the four candidates. Now the campaigns of other three candidates — Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul — have made a joint decision that could spell the end for the Gingrich campaign:
