Where the oil will eventually go.
But one thing’s for sure,
There is no quick cure
For the poor poisoned Gulf of Mexico.

Rand Paul doesn’t lie awake nights,
Worrying about civil rights.
He’s not a contrarian,
He’s just libertarian.
It’s for business — not people — he fights.

It speaks tomes about the class of Rand Paul,
And demonstrates his tea bagger’s gall,
That when defeated Trey Grayson
Tried to say congratulations,
Rand Paul wouldn’t take the phone call.

Pundits are generating content,
Parsing potential voter intent.
One thing’s for sure
In this midterm year,
Nobody wants to be an incumbent.

You know how some Republicans act around girls.
They behave just like mashers and churls.
But I’ve heard it mentioned
They might hold their convention
In Tampa — Lap-Dance Capital of the World!

It’s hard to be progressive
When society gets regressive.
Seems we on the left
Just ain’t got the heft
To hang on to success when we possess it.

Spring is sprung.
The grass is rizz.
I wonder where the flowers is.

Happy birthday, Mom!

If it’s political office you seek,
You’d better be strong, not weak.
Stake out your position
And stay true to your mission,
Or you’ll end up like Crist, Rubio and Meek.

As the wags and pundits confer,
On the Florida senate race, they demur
To make a prediction,
Though they say with conviction
They’re damned glad they’re not George Lemieux!

Like ignorant medieval oafs,
To their party Fla. Repugs are betrothed.
Even if they wished,
They couldn’t back Crist,
‘Cause they took a loyalty oath.
