Why FOX News Viewers Can’t Find Their Backsides with Two Hands

That country labeled “Egypt” in between Iran and Syria in this FOX News graphic, caught by BuzzFeed, is actually Iraq. You might have heard of it, unless you watch a lot of FOX News, in which case, think, “Persia.” Egypt, of course, is that large country on the tip of North Africa, the one with a big river running through it. What’s the name of that river? Oh yeah, what FOX News does when faced with facts: denial.

  1. Though Fox News claims President Obama “misquoted a familiar Bible verse” during the National Prayer breakfast yesterday, Media Matters points out “they seem unfamiliar with the fact that there is more than one version of the Bible.”

Obama was quoting from the New International Version, while Fox was pointing to the King James Version to “debunk” him.

  2. You could look at it your way, Jim and be correct. I was thinking more of the Persian Empire, although Persia itself extended to the western shore of the Tigris River, which runs through what is now Iraq.
