Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office.

Flu Update: Australian Test Only 90 Percent Accurate
From ProMed:
Some Australians may have been falsely diagnosed with human swine flu while others with the disease may have been sent home with a negative
result because the laboratory test used to identify the potentially deadly virus is only about 90 percent accurate.
So far more than 1,200 Australians have tested positive to swine flu. [New South Wales] Health is among those using polymerase chain reaction testing, also known as PCR testing, to identify the H1N1 strain of influenza. Last night [9 Jun 2009] NSW Health declined to make any further comment. The latest information from the World Health Organization, supported by the US Food and Drug Administration, suggests the newly developed rRT-PCR “rapid” testing method gives only a “presumptive positive” rather than a “definitive positive” result for H1N1 influenza. According to reports from both organizations, the test can also provide a “false negative” result in cases where the patient actually has the virus. PCR testing is the global benchmark used to identify viruses and is endorsed by the WHO.
In April, the FDA issued an emergency use authorization to allow a “rapid” form of the method to be rushed to laboratories across the US to combat a potential swine flu epidemic, even though the method had not been fully developed or obtained approval. A document released by the FDA on 28 Apr [2009] states only that rRT-PCR swine flu testing “may be effective” in testing for swine flu. The FDA report states that “a positive result indicates that the patient is presumptively infected with swine flu virus, but not the stage of infection,” and that “a negative result does not, by itself, exclude the possibility of swine flu virus infection.”
Shepard Smith Describes Fox Fans’ Email As Increasingly ‘Frightening’ – Freeper Responds: Shep Is An ‘Angry Little Queer’
In the wake of the right-wing terrorist attack at the Holocaust Museum in Washington yesterday, Fox News anchor Shepard Smith raised concerns over the increasingly hate-filled emails he has been receiving from his network’s viewers. Within minutes, some of these same angry Fox viewers began posting comments about Smith at Free Republic, one of the oldest websites that caters to the right-wing lunatic fringe. One commenter even referred to Shep as an “angry little queer.”
The transcript of Smith’s comments and a selection of responses from his viewers on Free Republic follow…

All who pretend or assume to engage in plural marriage in this day, when the one holding the keys has withdrawn the power by which they are performed, are guilty of gross wickedness.

…Rulon [Allred] said, “We are not able to get into [their] temples, brothers and sisters, because they have us locked out. We’re not welcome in their [LDS] churches; we’re a bunch of scalawags because we believe in the fullness of the gospel…”

Trump Sends Letter to Homophobic Beauty Queen: You’re Fired
After milking every ounce of publicity out of the hoopla around not firing Miss California, Carrie Prejean, last month for lying about having posed for nude photos, making bigoted remarks and consorting with the National Organization for Marriage, an anti-gay hate group, Donald Trump reversed himself and terminated Prejean today.
“To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else — she treated like shit,” Trump said.
Being a jerk is not necessarily a firing offense, even for beauty queens. Technically, Prejean was terminated for breach of contract:
“The Miss California USA Organization, in conjunction with the Miss Universe Organization and with the blessing of its owner, Mr. Donald J. Trump, announced today the termination of Carrie Prejean as Miss California USA 2009, citing continued breach of contract issues,” the Miss California Organization said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
The group kicked the controversial beauty queen from her post due to “contract violations including Ms. Prejean’s unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization,” the pageant’s Executive Director, Keith Lewis, said in a statement…
“[It] has become abundantly clear that Carrie is unwilling to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together,” Lewis’ statement continued.
And the always classy Mr. Trump, who is famous for hosting a contest in which he fires someone every week, terminated Prejean the old fashioned way — in a letter. Stay classy, Don.
Before she received the letter, however, Prejean learned she’d been fired during a phone call with entertainment reporter Billy Bush:
“We’ve just found out from Keith Lewis, your executive director there, that it’s official, they have put out a statement and you have been fired,” Bush said.
“Well, that’s the first that I know about that, Billy,” Prejean said.
“Really?” he continued.
“Yeah. I was just talking to my lawyer and I just got a phone call from you and I’ve gotten some text messages saying ‘Hey, is this really true?’ and I said, ‘True about what?’ and they said, ‘That you’ve been fired.’ And I started to laugh because everyone’s been cooperating and everyone’s been getting along so well,” she said. “This is the first that I’ve heard of it. This is funny to me. I have no idea what’s going on.”
Indeed.
The Mormon Church & Polygamy: A Double Standard?
A Temple System Out of Control Or Unofficial Thumbs Up for Polygamy?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints excommunicates any church member who practices polygamy. The Church has publicly disowned Mormon fundamentalists, representing the sects of Mormonism which embrace early Mormon teachings that made polygamy a central part of the Mormon faith — the ongoing legacy of Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism.
While the LDS Church says it does not sanction polygamy, behind closed temple doors, and in Mormon databases, many excommunicated Mormon fundamentalists (and their plural wives) have been reclaimed through posthumous rituals for the dead — and, in numerous cases, posthumously reinstated through “resurrected” original LDS ordinances, including baptisms.
Reinventing its polygamous history, the LDS Church is ushering deceased excommunicated Mormon fundamentalists — such as Rulon Clark Allred; Rulon Timpson Jeffs; and members of the LeBaron clan, including notorious killer, Ervil Morell LeBaron — back into the LDS fold.
The LDS temple system is systematically validating the plural marriages of many deceased Mormon fundamentalists who, when they were alive, were excommunicated from the LDS Church because of polygamy. Some of these polygamists have been posthumously sealed in LDS temples to plural wives they married — after the LDS Church officially suspended polygamy.
Why does the LDS Church condemn the practice of polygamy — including the polygamy of Mormon fundamentalists — as the LDS temple system consistently validates deceased Mormon fundamentalists and many of their plural marriages?
