Liz Cheney Panders to Half Wits on Twitter

Rarely do I disagree with the best VP ever but @SarahPalinUSA more qualified than Obama and Biden combined. Huge respect 4 all she’s done 4 GOP.

Prospective Wyoming U.S. Senate candidate (and Maryland resident) Liz Cheney, daring to disagree with her father’s correct assessment that John McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008 was a “mistake.” Liz is either pandering to Palin’s half-wit followers or she’s off her meds.

The Movie Sarah Palin Desperately Does Not Want You to See

Sarah Palin is so desperate to convince people not to watch “Game Change,” the HBO movie about her disastrous run as the vice presidential nominee in 2008, that her PAC created a spoof of the movie’s trailer.

Let’s hope “Game Change” — which premieres on Saturday, March 11 — gets big ratings and that its principals, Julianne Moore, Ed Harris and Woody Harrelson all win Emmys.

Bristol Palin was caught on tape out partying at a bar that caters to reality TV stars here in the liberal bastion of West Hollywood Thursday night.

“You’re fucking white trash from Wasilla.Your mom ran that city into the fucking grave. Fuck you, you fucking bitch!”

The video also shows an incident in which she was heckled while riding a mechanical bull. After an inglorious dismount, she collected herself and confronted her detractors, at least one of whom was gay, after which she and her entourage sashayed out the door.

According to US Weekly, the confrontation between Palin and the bar patrons went like this:

Gross box-office receipts for the third (and probably final) weekend of the theatrical release of “The Undefeated,” the deceptively titled, nearly two-hour long propaganda piece on the tea-baggers’ Dear Leader, Sarah Palin. The right-wing filmmakers were hoping to build boffo box office by appealing to Palin’s fan base of millions of dumbasses in suburbs and rural towns. Apparently, however, the movie was so bad that even idiocrats stayed away in droves. The movie opened in 10 theatres during its first weekend (July 15-17), peaked at 14 theatres the next weekend (July 22-24) and was down to four theatres last weekend (July 29-31). It will now go straight to video — offering more proof, as if any were needed, that conservative movies always suck.

Palin Issued Primary Threat to House Tea Partyists Just Hours Before Vote on Boehner Bill Was Postponed

Los Angeles Times:

“Everyone I talk to still believes in contested primaries.”
– Sarah Palin, issuing a veiled threat to tea-bagger freshmen in the House

Sarah Palin sent a warning to freshman Republicans on Thursday not to forget the promises made to voters in 2010, adding her outsized voice to the flurry of last-minute arm-twisting before a key debt ceiling vote in the House.

In a post on her Facebook page from “proverbial politico flyover country,” the former Alaska governor reprinted a letter she sent to newly elected members last fall, emphasizing the need to “rein in out-of-control government spending” and “check the growth of spending on our entitlement programs.”

…The message does not include marching orders for the proposal offered by House Speaker John A. Boehner that is on the floor Thursday. But Palin has said recently she was not convinced that a fiscal doomsday was imminent if the debt ceiling was not raised by Aug. 2.

“We cannot default but we cannot afford to retreat right now either. Now is not the time to retreat, it’s the time to reload,” she said on Fox News Channel earlier this month.

In a loaded postscript to her Facebook post, Palin reminds the House freshmen: “Everyone I talk to still believes in contested primaries.”

Later this afternoon, Speaker Boehner called off the vote on his budget bill, a clear sign that he does not have the votes to pass it in the House. Think Progress has been tallying the votes:
