I fail to see how a postcard-sized return would allow us to abolish the IRS. Who would be responsible for printing and processing the postcards (or, in a more realistic world, the electronic submissions)? Who would ensure the collections are in compliance with the law? These people have a lot of talking points, but not a lot of thought to back them up, it seems to me.
