Progress on CO2 Emissions Reduction Incredibly Slow

Amount total global emissions of CO2 rose from 1990 to 2010, according to the International Energy Agency, despite more than $2 trillion of investment in wind, solar and other renewable-energy sources. The agency says emissions must be cut more than 60% to prevent global average temperatures from rising by more than 3.6 degrees F in the long term.
