Okay, right off the bat, we want to apologize for this lame attempt at humor, not to mention the half-assed Photoshopping. However, unlike Marilyn Davenport, the Orange County, Calif., GOP birther and GOP tea party official,
who caused a controversy after she sent out an email based on this same montage but with Pres. Obama’s face superimposed on the adorable baby chimp shown here, we’re not going to issue a non-apology apology.
You will recall that Davenport’s first response went went like this: “Oh, come on! Everybody who knows me knows that I am not a racist. It was a joke. I have friends who are black. Besides, I only sent it to a few people — mostly people I didn’t think would be upset by it.”
As we noted at the time, one way to tell you’re a racist is if you find yourself saying crap like “Everybody who knows me knows I’m not a racist,” and especially, “I have friends who are black.”
One way to know that you’re a half-wit, however, is when, in one breath, you express exasperation that anyone would find an email you sent depicting an African American as a chimp to be racist and then in the next, asserting that you only sent it “mostly” to people you “didn’t think would be upset by it” — a recipient group that presumably does not include your purported African-American friends.
No, our apologies for this patently offensive image are clear, unequivocal and deeply sincere:
We hereby humbly apologize to chimpanzees everywhere for comparing their intelligence with that of Marilyn Davenport and George Bush.
Chimpanzees are way smarter than either of those two half-wits.

I’ll give just a fraction of an inch to Ms. Davenport—she’s generationally challenged. She’s an older woman who has lived too long in the isolation of Orange County, CA, and she is completely unaware of how things have changed. The days are over when a member of the majority white population can get away with that basest of racist taunts, that those of African heritage are sub-human, by laughing it off with “It was a joke,” and “I have friends who are black.”
I daresay she has learned otherwise by now.
Well much like Ms Davenport you too are a what is wrong with this great country that I spent more than 10 years defending.What saddens me is that I defended the very principals and freedoms that permit you to behave like a 6 year old with no reciprocity. Grow up and get yourself a life instead of attaching yourself to another persons stupidity, making you their intellectual equal by default.
Mr. Jayson, thank you for defending our country for ten years. Did you send the same note to Ms. Davenport. We mean no harm, our hearts are clean. Just wonder how these people feel when the shoe is on the other foot.
Mr. Jayson has no right whatsoever to post his comments on defending our country, specifically after lying about being a Navy SEAL. He was never a SEAL and should be exposed for such lies. I am working on that. But I do like the picture :)

Let me see; showing Marilyn Davenport, et al, as monkeys isn’t racist (notwithstanding the fake apology) but her too-close-to-real-life joke about Berry Soetero (who’s a joke all on his own) is racist.
