They’d rather run than put the budget to bed.
There are mobs in the street
As Republicans bleat:
“Bring home those dastardly cheeseheads!”

The budget is not the issue, as everyone who is paying attention knows. It is Walker’s destructive action to bust the unions. He has resolved to cancel their right to collective bargaining. Behind him are the billions of the Koch Brothers petroleum tycoons and their Tea Party. Also their crafty hireling, Karl Rove. Wisconsin’s pain will soon be shared by several other states in a planned nationwide campaign to kill the unions. But any reasonably well educated American knows the crucial role the unions have played in the emancipation of the American worker. This terrible action must not stand!
