CNN’s Firing Rick Sanchez Is More Proof That Fox Is Not a Legitimate News Organization

Within 24 hours after the radio interview during which CNN anchor Rick Sanchez called Jon Stewart a bigot and complained that Jews run the media, CNN fired him. Contrast that with the fact that it has been 14 months since Glenn Beck called the president of the United States a racist. Nearly 300 advertisers have boycotted his show as a result, but Fox did not even consider firing him. What does that say about Fox?

CA Gov: Whitman-Harsh Outspending Brown 14 to 1, Has Spent $140 Mil, So Far

Rate at which Meg Whitman-Harsh, the GOP billionaire running for governor of California, is outspending her Democratic rival, Attorney General Jerry Brown. The Whitman campaign had spent more than $140 million as Sept. 30, while the Brown campaign had spent just $10 million. Nonetheless, Brown has a five point lead in most polls.

Amount the dim-wwitted cast of “Fox & Friends” on the GOP-Fox channel said the LAPD paid for 100,000 space-age jet packs. In a rare move for the Republican cable channel, the hosts were forced to recant the story later when it was revealed that their source — the supermarket tabloid, Weekly World News — simply made it up.
