Bob Etheridge (D-NC). He didn’t take any crap off these two Flipcam-wielding punk students — he just opened up a can of whup-ass …

UPDATE: (6/18/10) After Rep. Bob Etheridge (D) was seen in a video confrontation earlier this week, a new Civitas Institute poll shows challenger Renee Ellmers (R) with a slight edge in their race for Congress, 39 percent to 38 percent.

Etheridge represents Raleigh, and has been there since 1997. He’ll probably do okay.

I am predicting that, unless something dramatic happens to reverse public agita, every Southern freshman Dem in a district McCain won will go. For example, Rep. Larry Kissell, the freshman Dem from NC-08 (Concord), who took the seat from the Republican Cannon Mills heir, is toast.
