The Reuters/Ipsos daily tracking poll finds President Trump’s popularity is eroding in small towns and rural communities where 15 percent of the country’s population lives. In September, 47% of people in non-metro areas approved of Trump while 47% disapproved. That is down from Trump’s first four weeks in office, when 55% said they approved of the president while 39% disapproved.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds President Trump’s approval rate has sunk to a new low of 36%. For comparison, Hillary Clinton’s approval is at a new low of 30%.

A new NBC News-Survey Monkey poll finds 61% of Americans view President Trump unfavorably — with 48% saying they have a strongly unfavorable impression of him — as compared to just 36% who have a favorable view. Also interesting: 60% of Americans think Trump did the wrong thing when he granted former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio a pardon and 34% said the President did the right think in granting Arpaio a pardon.

A new Fox News poll finds just 36% of voters are happy with how things are going in the country — down 10 points since April — while 64% are dissatisfied. Most interesting is that the shift “is not, as is often the case, tied to the economy. Positive views on the economy are higher than in more than a decade: 36% say it is in either “excellent” (6%) or “good” (30%) shape. The last time conditions were rated this positively was August 2004.”

The Gallup daily tracking poll finds President Trump’s approval rating among people aged 18 to 29 has reached a new low of 20%. Overall, Trump’s approval rate is a dismal 35% to 60%.

A new Pew Research survey finds that just 31% of Republican voters say they agree with President Trump on all or nearly all issues, while an additional 38% agree with him on many, but not all, issues. In contrast, 77% of Democrats report virtually no agreement with Trump on issues. In views of Trump’s conduct as president, 46% of Republicans express mixed feelings, while 19% say they do not like his conduct; 34% say they like the way he conducts himself as president. Among Democrats, 89% have a negative view of Trump’s conduct. Overall, Trump’s approval rate is a dismal 36% to 63%.

A new George Washington University Battleground Poll finds there is widespread national concern about President Trump’s public discourse and behavior. Key finding: The survey found that 71% of voters agreed his “behavior is not what I expect from a president” (27% disagreed), and 68% agreed his “words and actions could get us accidentally involved in an international conflict” (29% disagreed). Also striking: Almost two-thirds (63%) of the registered voters polled said the country is on the wrong track, and a majority (56%) had an unfavorable view of President Trump (41% favorable).

A new Quinnipiac poll finds that 63% of voters say that President Trump is doing more to divide the country, while 31% say he is doing more to unite the country, his worst score yet on this question. Trump’s job approval also hits a new low of 35% to 59%.

A new NBC News/Marist poll in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin shows President Trump’s approval underwater: In Michigan, 36% of residents statewide approve of his job performance, and 55% disapprove;
in Pennsylvania, 33% approve of how President Trump is doing in his post, and 52% disapprove; in Wisconsin, the president’s score is similarly upside down, 33% to 56%.
