We’ve often accused them of stupidity,
And violence, laziness and cupidity.
We’ll be the first to admit
We can put up with that shit,
But we just can’t stand it when they act all uppity.

Sarah Palin’s raking in loads of cash,
And she’s doling it out in a flash.
But is it eleeomosynary
Or for something more scary?
Like erasing our collective memory cache …

In Cleveland they are cursing the Heat.
In Toronto they call it a cheat.
But no matter your rant,
You still have to grant,
Signing Bosch, Wade and James was some feat.

Michael Steele started some kind of drama
When he said the Afghan war was Obama’s.
The Democrats went all ballistic,
Calling for Steele’s head on a stick,
As debate sank to a series of “Yo Mamas.”

Lindsay Graham said that the tea baggers
Are a bunch of losers and slackers.
And according to Gallup,
They’re a statistical blip —
They’re just Republicans who are birthers and ranters.

We could speculate, but what’s the use,
About what Al Gore did with that masseuse.
When she gave him a rub, he
Tried to get lovey-dovey.
Do you think that boring façade is just a ruse?

His comportment was military and manly.
In Afghanistan he proved to be handy.
But when his hail-fellow banter
Turned to cant, swipes and chatter,
Obama said, “You’re outta here, Stanley!”

It’s a fact of Republican biology,
Never say “sorry” when you can use a tautology.
Then along comes Joe Barton
With contrition by the gallon:
He apologized for an apology’s apology.

BP replaced its principal player,
And tossed the oil spill to the Prez with a prayer.
Said Hayward to Barack:
“Old bean, get your life back,
“Head to the World Cup, blow a zuzuvela!”
