Are Americans Ready for a Real Third Political Party?

Of likely U.S. voters agree that Republicans and Democrats are so much alike that an entirely new party is needed to represent the American people, a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds. That’s up six points from 32% five years ago. A plurality (47%) still disagrees, but most voters (54%) felt that way in April 2010; 14% are undecided.
