New York Times: President Trump appeared to be fighting sleep on Tuesday during a cabinet meeting at the White House, closing his eyes and at times seeming to nod off, after he criticized media coverage about him facing the realities of aging in office.

Gavin Newsom in October after he appeared to drift off at an event discussing the threat his administration said is posed by Antifa activists, in revenge for the president’s regular jibes against “Sleepy Joe” throughout his presidency.
Unilad: [The] White House has strenuously denied any accusation that Trump fell asleep during the televised meeting and pointed to his engagement with the topic – without explaining why his eyes appeared to be closed, while his head rested against the back of his chair.
“The President was not sleeping; in fact, he spoke throughout and took many questions from the press during this announcement which represents a historic reduction in prices for Americans on two drugs that help Americans struggling with diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and other conditions,” the scathing official response claimed.
TV Insider: On Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host mentioned how Trump recently pushed back against the New York Times after a report claimed he was cutting back his schedule because he was “showing signs of fatigue.”
Kimmel said, “It’s ridiculous, I mean, does this look like a man who is showing signs of fatigue?” He then aired a montage of clips from the Cabinet meeting in which Trump appeared to be fighting sleep as officials like Marco Rubio and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke.
“I mean, if you can sleep through [RFK. Jr’s] voice, you are tired!” Kimmel quipped. “Tell us again how sleepy Joe is, will ya?” he added, referencing Trump’s nickname for former President Joe Biden.
