Two things on Bush saying the next president will have to get us out of Iraq .

Premature withdrawals, quick pullouts, lordie, lordie. I think Bush is more worried about his studly reputation than war strategy.

1. He’s trying to lower expectations and at the same time, make us stop shouting for him to go. If we agree that the next president will have to undo this in a few years, it means it won’t help to impeach or censure him now.

2. Is it just me, or is it getting warm in here?

The president…warned several times about the danger of a ”premature” withdrawal.

Premature withdrawals, quick pullouts, lordie, lordie. I think Bush is more worried about his studly reputation than war strategy. But maybe I’m just hoping for a speedy climax to our frenzied penetration of Iraq.

We can’t forget why we were told we were going into Iraq: self-defense! Not the PNAC insane reverse-domino policy that Bush is finally admitting was the real reason. Michael Moore was ridiculed for saying that. What else is true? The Saudi’s we let fly off were more involved than we were told? Who was involved in the Anthrax attacks? Did we let UBL get away from Tora Bora, because if we caught him the ” War on Terror” would be lost as an excuse to go into Iraq? Iran and Siria are next, make no mistake about it! Nothing can stop these Neo-crackpots. I was hoping that McCain, Snowe, Specter etc. Might stand up to these people, but that was all show. If the Democrats get subpeona power this fall, the roaches will be scurrying then!
