Yeah, looking at the lightweight competition, I can understand why CNN and ABC had to just churn up some crap with “Obama” in either the headline or the lede. I mean, what else was there to really engage the public? Since the public, is, you know, anything but bitter at being played and manipulated and underestimated by the Bush administration for eight years.
I agree 100%. Here we have very important news stories being sidetracked and minimized while they keep repeating things that have already been dealth with. And to make matters worse, they continue to give John McCain “a pass” on so many issues like his flip-flopping on the Bu$h tax cuts which mainly benefited the wealthy, his lack of grasp of issues regarding Iraq and his claim that the U.S. economy has been great under Bu$h. The MSM is clearly not serving us well.
The mainstream media have proved themselves fickle beyond all bounds this primary season. They are playing a critical role in the political process, influencing the public instead of informing them. Their constant switches in favoring Hillary, then Obama, then Hillary are distorting the whole operation. Their latest switch to Hillary could be disastrous for Obama and, I’m afraid, fr the country generally. I honestly believe the media want this to drag out to boost sales or ratings, and will do anything to keep it going, even taking sides.
No, actually, everything in the media is EXACTLY as it should be. We long ago slipped into another dimension where up is down and the mentally challenged get to be Kings in a (cough) democratic country. Yes, that’s right, you live in Bizarro world. It ALL makes sense now, doesn’t it?
A country of over 300 million people and that’s all they’re thinking of is Barack and Rev. Wright. The MSM is careful not to put on news that ordinary American can relate to. Only on the Internet can you find news. For now anyway.
