That commanding level of support cut across all major demographic groups within the party — men and women, liberals and conservatives, whites and minorities. “Hillary Clinton has weathered a barrage of attacks and retained strong support across the Democratic Party, even as the Republican primary electorate is splintered among the many potential GOP candidates for president.”
