C-SPAN just reported that House Speaker Dennis Hastert will hold a news conference this morning at 11AM Eastern.
UPDATE: Hastert let it be known that he is throwing his staff to the lions, purporting that they knew details about the Foley scandal that they did not share with him — which brings us to the standard GOP conundrum: Is Denny Hastert lying or is he an incompetent manager who is kept in the dark about serious matters like a chickenhawk running amok among the page boys?
