Don’t get me wrong, I definitely have sympathy for those who suffer from addiction, whether it’s alcohol, drugs or underage boys. But this is just another example of someone trying to subvert a scandal by attributing it to an addiction. Plus, it gets Foley out of sight, if not out of mind, as this story continues to develop.
