If was just an attempt to be cute, can Rove and his “actual liturgical cohorts” be more cynical or blasphemous than to invoke God’s protection against someone who only happens to hold differing views?
In an interview on NPR last night with Terri Gross, Wayne Slater said that Rove told him that he is an agnostic, so I guess we’ll have to chalk the exorcism up to cynicism, not blasphemy.
