The median wealth of a U.S. House member was $765,010 last year and the median wealth of a U.S. Senator was $2.38million.

So why don’t members or Congress explain to the public why they should receive retirement and health insurance paid for by the taxpayers after they retire. Seems they should invest in their own retirement funds in the stock market and pay for their own health care.
