Carter: Bush’s Domestic Spying Is ‘Illegal’

“Under the Bush administration, there’s been a disgraceful and illegal decision — we’re not going to the let the judges or the Congress or anyone else know that we’re spying on the American people. And no one knows how many innocent Americans have had their privacy violated under this secret act.”

— Pres. Jimmy Carter, speaking yesterday at an event launching his son Jack’s bid for senator from Nevada

  1. THAT is it CARTER stand up for what is RIGHT! but it seems as if all your BUDDIES except KENNEDY and KERRY have laid DOWN ON US! AND WILL FALL FOR WNYTHING! including that piece of SHIT IN THE WHITE HOUSE

  2. This wiretapping story has NO traction whatsover–and never will. Unconstitutional or not, illegal or not, most people will support Bush in doing it…If being a liar, defrauding people, being incompetent, being lazy, being a mass murderer can’t untrack that gut, a little wiretapping isn’t going to do anything to him.
