Biden’s Approval Drops Over Afghanistan Pullout
49%
Gallup: “Gallup’s latest job approval rating for President Joe Biden, conducted mostly before the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban earlier this week, is 49%.” “With Biden’s last two job approval ratings around 50%, the honeymoon phase of his presidency is over. His approval shows its first sustained decline and now sits below the historical average 53% job approval rating. The Afghanistan crisis may serve to further erode his public support.” A new CBS News/YouGov poll finds Biden’s approval rate has fallen to 50%, down from 58% last month. A new NBC News poll finds Biden’s approval rate at 49%.
Gov. Newsom Could ‘Lose’ California Recall with 49%, GOP Winner with 20%
Los Angele Times OpEd: “Opinion polls show that the vote is likely to be close on whether to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom and that if he is recalled, none of the candidates is likely to get more than 20% of the vote. The result is a virtual certainty that if Newsom is recalled, he will get far more votes — probably more than twice as many — as whoever would replace him. There easily could be a situation in which 49% of the voters want Newsom to remain, but because he is recalled, a successor who garnered less than 20% of the votes would replace him.”
Qanon Anti-Semite Propagandist ‘GhostEzra’ Identified
The Hill: “Researchers at the intelligence firm Logically have identified a key member of the QAnon community who has used his significant platform to spread anti-Semitic conspiracies. In a new report released Friday, the researchers identified the person behind ‘GhostEzra’ as Robert Smart of Boca Raton, Fla. GhostEzra has recently emerged as one of the most influential figures in far-right online spaces, amassing well over 300,000 Telegram channel subscribers since the beginning of the year.”
Kabul Is Biden’s Tehran, Not Saigon
“President Biden vowed that his Afghan withdrawal would not lead to a Saigon moment. That ship has sailed, but Saigon 1975 is far from the worst-case scenario for Afghanistan today. With thousands of unprotected U.S. citizens scattered across the country, Mr. Biden should worry about a repeat of Tehran in 1979.”

54%
A new Fabrizio Lee poll on behalf of Donald Trump’s Save America PAC finds former NFL running back Herschel Walker (R) taking 54% of the vote in a GOP primary for Senate. No other GOP candidate polls above 5%.
Mo Brooks Understands Would-Be White House Bomber
“Although this terrorist’s motivation is not yet publicly known, and generally speaking, I understand citizenry anger directed at dictatorial Socialism and its threat to liberty, freedom and the very fabric of American society The way to stop Socialism’s march is for patriotic Americans to fight back in the 2022 and 2024 election.”
— House members criticized Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) after he released a statement “that appeared to be sympathetic to the man police had arrested earlier in the day in connection with a bomb threat near the U.S. Capitol,” NBC News reports.

0
“There wasn’t a single I.C.U. bed available in Alabama on Wednesday, a possible sign of what other states may confront soon amid a deadly surge of new infections in parts of the United States with low vaccination rates,” the New York Times reports.
Afghanistan Wins/Loses Again
A year ago Trump said Let’s get out of Afghanistan,
Now Biden is implementing the two-bit tyrant’s plan.
But the Afghans we trained and equipped
Apparently are already whipped.
If I were a betting man, my money’d be on the Taliban.
