A new Fox News poll in Alabama shows former President Obama is more popular in Alabama than Donald Trump. The poll shows Obama with a 52% favorability rating in the state, compared to Trump’s 49%.

210,000 gallons
“A total of 210,000 gallons of oil leaked Thursday from the Keystone Pipeline in Marshall County, South Dakota,” CNN reports. “Crews shut down the pipeline Thursday morning and officials are investigating the cause of the leak. This is the largest Keystone oil spill to date in South Dakota.”

A new Quinnipiac poll finds that American voters disapprove of the Republican tax plan by a 52% to 25% margin. Republican voters approve 60% to 15%, with 26% undecided. All other party, gender, education, age and racial groups disapprove.

Congress has paid out more than $17.2 million over the last 20 years to cover 268 settlements on Capitol Hill, according to the Office of Compliance, which was set up in 1995 under the Congressional Accountability Act. In 2002 and 2007 those tallies topped several million dollars, Axios reports.
