According to statistics 28 people die everyday in alcohol related driving incidents, for those of you who have not mastered basic math skills that’s about 10,226.72 deaths per year. Why not ban cars or alcohol? or sue the car company for making it so dangerous or the alcohol company for making it so dangerous. Hold on…what was that… could it be because the car is an object that has no power unless an idiot starts it or the alcohol is not a problem unless an idiot drinks to much? Kind of like the gun doesn’t do anything unless the idiot picks it up. In every instance it’s a persons inability to give a crap about anything but themselves and their inability to act remotely smart or civilized. Why not just ban people after all are they not the actual WEAPONS of WAR.

National Institutes of Health statistics show that prior to laws restricting drunk driving established during the Reagan administration, alcohol was a factor in 60 percent of all traffic fatalities and in two-thirds of fatalities involving young people 16 to 20 years old. Today, as a result of these laws that raised the drinking age to 21 nationwide and reduced the limit of blood alcohol, drunk-driving related deaths have been reduced by half in the general population and are down to 37 percent among the 16-to-20 age group.
We won’t end drunk driving fatalities as long as cars and booze exist. Neither will end gun violence as long as guns and right-wing nutcases exist. But laws can work to reduce the number of mass-shooting deaths, despite what the the bloodthirsty gunmakers say through their NRA front group.
