‘On Bullshit’ Author Says Romney’s Probably Both a Liar and Bullshitter

Just this morning I recorded an interview on the subject with somebody from the Canadian Broadcasting System, and that is surely enough for a while. As for Romney, the only question is whether he is a bullshitter or simply a liar. Probably, he is both.

GM Joins Chrysler in Calling Romney’s Jeep Ad a Lie

For the third time in a week, GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and the auto industry are at loggerheads, this time over a Romney radio ad implying that GM and Chrysler are expanding production in China at the cost of American jobs.

The ad claimed that “Under President Obama, GM cut 15,000 American jobs, but they are planning to double the number of cars built in China, which means 15,000 more jobs for China.”

The accusation drew a dismissive response from a GM spokesman, who explained, “We’ve clearly entered some parallel universe during these last few days. No amount of campaign politics at its cynical worst will diminish our record of creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country.”

Amount casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson, along with members of his family, has given to super PACs to help elect a variety of Republican candidates, from presidential hopeful Mitt Romney down to a House of Representatives race in New Jersey. Adelson, “among those whose contributions are disclosed, is far and away the largest donor to independent political efforts in both the 2012 election and in any single election in modern history,” the Huffington Post reports.
