Prophetess Michele Bachmann: God Sent Earthquake, Hurricane to Smite ‘Politicians’ Because of Govt Spending

I don’t know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians. We’ve had an earthquake; we’ve had a hurricane. He said, “Are you going to start listening to me here?” Listen to the American people because the American people are roaring right now. They know government is on a morbid obesity diet and we’ve got to rein in the spending.

– Republican politician Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, campaigning at a megachurch in Florida, making the sort of ridiculous assertion that would have forced a serious presidential contender out of the race just a few years ago.

  1. Michele Bachmann has repeatedly demonstrated a grasp of science inferior to that of the average second grader. If she thinks tectonic plates have nothing to do with earthquakes and CO2 emissions nothing to with global warming and extreme weather it would be entertaining to ask her how elevators work, where milk comes from, and the genesis of babies. Presumably, in her view, God, like an incompetent executive, has to micromanage it all.

  2. If anyone thinks that God has nothing to do with the weather and natural disasters, they are sadly mistaken. Why do you think it is called “an act of God”? God manages EVERYTHING. As for Michelle Bachman, she is an idiot for making the above statement. It makes absolutely no sense!

  3. If God “manages EVERYTHING”, why are are so many lucky acts called miracles, and why does God allow so many deaths from, say, hurricanes? Why would God sens an idiot to explain why science has no clue about earthquakes and storms? Why does God need so much help from the brainless? Is God’s will in probate court by any chance?
