Amount by which the Republican National Committee missed its fundraising goal in September after Sarah Palin signed a direct-mail letter seeking donations for the party, according to the right-wing cult-owned Washington Times newspaper. Palin signed the fundraising letter in return for the RNC’s agreement to pay $250,000 in legal bills related to various ethics charges filed against her during her brief stint as governor of Alaska.
Separately, the RNC treasurer also revealed that he had found an additional $1.7 million in unreported debt, more than doubling the Republican Party’s insovlency to $2.8 million.
Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee broke fundraising records in September, collecting $16 million, mostly in small amounts from enthusiastic donors.

And I was one of those enthusiastic donors who contributed to the DNC more than once in the month of September because I know that Big Business and Big Oil have decided to fund the campaigns of the rw nuts who will be their puppets if they are elected to Congress. There are already too many rw nuts serving in Congress who haven’t lifted a finger to help in the country’s economic recovery.
