GOP Racism Rears Its Ugly Head – Newt Says Obama Is an Anti-Colonial Kenyan Conman

Is a person’s behavior determined by his or her race?

Take the case of a theoretical mixed-race American boy — let’s call him Barack Obama — whose mother is a Caucasian American and whose father is an African native of Kenya. Let’s say the father leaves the boy and his mother when the boy is two years old and moves back to Kenya, 10,000 miles away, never to be heard from again, except for one visit when the boy was 10 years old. How will the father influence the boy when he grows up?

A) Is the boy predestined by his genetic connection to his father to grow up and emulate his African-ness (whatever that is) — even going so far as to hold the same political beliefs rooted in Kenyan culture as his father?

Or B) is the boy more likely to identify with the culture and politics of the United States, the country where he spent most of his formative years and that he considers to be his home?

If you answered A, you are a racist, just like Newt Gingrich, the smartest guy in the Idiocracy — who is floating a possible run for president in 2012 — who made one of the most outrageously racist statements by a national politician since the Jim Crow era:

Citing a recent Forbes article by Dinesh D’Souza, former House speaker Newt Gingrich tells National Review Online that President Obama may follow a “Kenyan, anti-colonial” worldview.

Gingrich says that D’Souza has made a “stunning insight” into Obama’s behavior — the “most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.”

“What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?” Gingrich asks. “That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

Wait — are Republicans pro-colonial now?

“This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president,” Gingrich tells us.

“I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating — none of which was true,” Gingrich continues. “In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.”

“[Obama] is in the great tradition of Edison, Ford, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates — he saw his opportunity and he took it … I think Obama gets up every morning with a worldview that is fundamentally wrong about reality,” Gingrich says. “If you look at the continuous denial of reality, there has got to be a point where someone stands up and says that this is just factually insane.”

Got that? The president of the United States, who went to high school in Honolulu and college in Los Angeles, New York and Cambridge, is actually some sort of Manchurian candidate who has been genetically programmed to act out the purported anti-colonial policies of the father he barely knew in Kenya, a country Obama Jr. visited just once, when he was 27, long after his father had died.

This is a new low for Gingrich, who is an infamous serial adulterer, now married to the staffer he had an adulterous affair with at the same time he led the impeachment of Pres. Clinton for lying in a lawsuit deposition about an affair with a staffer — and, as former House speaker, one of the most powerful politicians ever to be forced to resign in disgrace.

It’s telling that Gingrich, now an abashedly self-outed racist, is an employee at the GOP-Fox channel, which is weathering criticism after being caught race-baiting in the Shirley Sherrod, ACORN and New Black Panthers scandals.
