However, I’d like to look at this subject from a different angle. Do any of you care that we live in a police state? That’s right, boys and girls, a POLICE STATE. That is because of drunk driving laws. Did you know that the Nazis were one of the first, if not the first, countries in history to pass drunk driving laws? (They also cited American forced-sterilization laws as precedents for their own laws forcing sterilization of Jews, but that’s another subject.)
And what do drunk driving laws criminalize? Do they criminalize your actions? NO! They criminalize the contents of your blood. The fucking criminal government has to administer a test to you, in order to declare you a criminal. Is that the way laws are supposed to work?
When the government can get away with criminalizing the contents of your body fluids, you live in a fucking police state. God Bless America? Why would God bless a country like this?

So many of you talk about the desctruction of the middle class…yet no mention of the loss of manufacturing and the off-shoring of good-paying jobs to emerging economies like India and China. Off-shoring a $100k/year job to Inida does much more damamge than illigal mexicans cleaning your office building. Not to mention the melt-down of the real estate bubble that held this country’s economy together for the last several years, giving us all the illusion that everything was okay. That is what is killing the middle class. Illegal immigrant workers taking jobs that only, uneducated, unskilled Americans would take is not the cause. And don’t blame them for taking adavntage of the immigration policies of this country…blame those who create and maintain those policies, allowing this country to hemmorage while we spend billions on bringing “democracy” to foreign lands that pose no real threat to us. And don’t start blabbing 9-11 crap because the majority of the 9-11 highjackers with Saudis, as was Osama…yet Saudi Arabia has never even had a finger pointed in it’s direction. People only have an issue with immigration, etc. when things are bad…which they are. Back in 1999 when everyone was making money hand over fist in the stock market, you couldn’t have given 2 shits about who was mowing your lawn, cleaning your house or serving your fast food. Now unemplyment is through the roof, we’ve loss hundreds of thousands of tech jobs to Inida and China, the US auto industry is about the implode, the US doens’t manufacture anything anymore (except weapons), forclosures threaten 30% of the nation and we’ve been fighting an illegal war for years…of course you’re all pissed about those %15k/year jobs you can’t get. You have to be mad at someone, right?
BTW: If you were so worried about the strain immigrants place on social services, think about this…Clinton left the Social Security overfunded when he left office…Bush completely ransacked SS and now it’s in the red…citizens in their 30s can’t hope to collect any SS when they retire. The money we spend on Iraq in one month could fund all our social services. The money we give Israel in one year could repair SS and/or the entire public school system.
If there were no illegals, companies would have to pay a decent wage to Americans to work those jobs. In addition, they would have to mechanize agriculture. The country is bankrupt from the welfare-warfare state. All these illegals add to the problems by commiting crimes – 90% of murderers on the run in LA are illegals – living off the welfare system and adding to the tax burden of the middle class, and driving down school achievement by their low IQs. I’m sure most people know plenty of hispanics who are nice hard working people. But we are being inundated by them and by at least a billion more people who would rather live here than in their own countries. But will this be America with a country full of mexicans,chinese, africans, and other third world poor? When they get here most don’t want to work. They insist on preferential treatment and demand that American culture be changed to accommodate the their own third world cultural practices. They are a fifth column deliberately brought here by the world’s leaders so as to bring about one world govt. No nation will be allowed to have a uniform population other than Israel. All the people of the world will be reduced to mongolized populations of slaves to serve the very rich and the jews – which is pretty much the same group.
I see the racism divides are being firmed up and reinforced. We have this dog and pony show and Imus vs. the “nappy headed hoes” (Imus’s words not mine).
Immigration is not issue as the finishing touches are being put on the North American Union. But it never fails to keep the serfs fighting amongst themselves.
To have a serious discussion about anything debated by the likes of Bill O’vibrator and Jerry Rivers aka Geraldo shows how reality challenged this group is.

Hey Frank…ever hear of something called “Eugenics”? It was a social philosphy that became politicized and was a front for publicly accepted racism during the late 19th/early 20th century. It used all sorts of statistics and psuedo science to justify racism and pure human breeding. Eugenics was supported by prominent thinkers, including Alexander Graham Bell, George Bernard Shaw, and Winston Churchill. Eugenics was even an academic discipline at many colleges and universities. Funding was provided by prestigious sources such as the Rockefeller Foundation, the Carnegie Institute of Washington, and the Harriman family. It was racism and discrimiation disguised as science. Eugenics enforced ideas such as racial hygiene, human experimentation, and the extermination of undesired population groups and it was embraced by the Nazis. I’m sure the Nazis could justify the extermination of the Jews with stats about crime and economy too. Just because you have some numbers to support your opinion, doesn’t make it right to hate.
I believe that immigration should be controlled. I believe that illegal immigrants should be deported under most circumstances (but not all). I believe that we should have a better way of allowing and regulating Mexicans to work legally in this country. I believe that everyone in this country should be subject to the laws of this country. However, many of the people posting are mixing their racist views with the politics and trying to justify their ignorance and hate. They are looking for support for their racist and hateful opinions and think they are finding common ground with people who support cracking down on immigration…and they’re wrong.
