Ignoramuses among us: Our post on the Tookie Williams story – and the threat by gang leaders to riot in Los Angeles after his execution – has drawn mentally deficient outside interlopers – we call them “Bush Voters” – to leave the most incredibly vile, racists ravings in our comments section that we have seen to date.
As an ex-patriated Southerner, I know racism inside and out. Here’s the bottom line: Racist statements and, especially, racist thinking, say everything you need to know about the dark-hearted fear and ignorance of the speaker and zero – absolutely nothing – about the people who are the objects of the speech and the thinking.
On their surface, racist statements may appear to promote the superiority of the speaker over the group he or she is castigating. In reality, these statements reveal their bearer’s intellectual inferiority and, especially, his or her cowardice and fear.
As to the comments themselves, Pensito Review has an informal policy of not censoring comments made on this site. For one thing, censorship is what the rightwingers do. For another, we count on our regular readers, and the other smart people who drop by here irregularly, to take on the cretins and expose their blackheartedness to the antiseptic light of day.

Actually, I believe it is Pensito Review’s formal policy to not censor comments, no matter how stupid, mean-spirited and benighted they are.

Y’all, I’m from Alabama and racism may seem to have vanished, but really it aint.its still here as proved in alabama and on yesterday’s message-board for tookie’s execution. Yall,this is America… The great melting pot…here in america, a man’s superiority is determined in funcion with educational level, charity, and the will to be the best and greatest. One’s color doesnt and will never determine that. White,black, asian, arab…whatever you are, your distinction of superiority is measured from what you have accomplished ecuationally and what you have done for your country…Look at NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and all the great institutions that our country is proud of…just look, they are made up of minorities as well as whites….we all come hand in hand to make this country what it is….we need eachother…and racism wont help satisfy that need, but rather loosen it…america wake up and see we are americans…not white, black, chinese or arab..we are americans!!!
and one more thing lads and ladies, i am a 17 year old who wrote all of that. its sad to see that my fellow grown-ups can act and think this way….maybe when the 20th century generation is gone and dead, we will have respnsible leaders and people to choose leaders and president that will do the right thing. not like voting for bush who dances to the drum-roll of the neo-cons and the terrorsit zionists. Maybe our generationand people like me will become responsible leaders who can see things clearly and not through terrorist-idealogies like Bush…that all i have to say and i would like everyone to know i have my own business…please visit it

I agree. Kind of like when you set out to teach someone a lesson. The lesson, it always happens, is about you.
I can’t stand all this racism stuff. Somewhere along the line something in someone’s head twisted, and then all of a sudden, because there were less blacks everyone thought they were disrespected, and Christmas wasn’t appropriate for my little sister’s school, and the minorities were mad because there were more white europeans, and the term ‘American’ divided into so many other terms and died out. Just because you see another person of a different race isn’t bad. And it doesn’t mean you need to celebrate all of their holidays and worship them. If they’re of a different religion or race, that’s just normal. Now it’s such a big deal. So he’s black. He’s black, it’s fine. She’s asian. So? She’s Asian then. Nothing wrong with that. America needs to take a chill pill and realize that there are differnet races, and that’s OK. It’s not a very big deal, no need for racism.
