Jerry Falwell writing in the Conservative Voice online:
While I am a strong supporter of the State of Israel and dearly love the Jewish people and believe them to be the chosen people of God, I continue to stand on the foundational biblical principle that all people — Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals, Jews, Muslims, etc. — must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to enter heaven.

if falwell is going to heaven, then i’m going to hell in a prada handbag. who wants to spend eternity with that loony? not me.
Amen, [not] Christiane!
May Falwell, Dodson, Robertson, Buchanan and ALL their “FELLOW TRAVELING” evangelical “?Christian?” associates enjoy each others company for all eternity without ANY HUMAN COMPANY WHATSOEVER!
wait, dont moslems already beleive in jesus too?
Jerry Falwell does not speak for God, Jesus, or any of the other characters in the greatest book of mythology ever foisted onto the public, the Bible.
If you believe in the Bible, however, it is clear that Falwell is bearing false witness, arrogating himself to the position of a prophet, and, by presuming to speak for God and Jesus holds himself forth as a craven image to which people must subjugate themselves if they seek salvation.
So I guess we all know who’s going to hell. Falwell, Robertson, Doubloon, Torquiest, Reed, and all the arrogant f*ckers who presume to speak for God are nothing less than amoral hucksters seeking to accumulate great wealth at the expense of the poor. And if they would allege that this is untrue, then they should IMMEDIATELY renounce and divest themselves of all personal wealth and worldly goods, and travel the land on foot in honor of the Saviour to whom they owe that wealth, having shamelessly used His name to accumulate it.
That might be a little too much to expect from Reverends and charlatans, eh? (As an interesting side note: my spelling checker recommends “fallible” as a possible correction for the name “Falwell”. How appropriate.)
