Poetic Justice

In the diplomatic ranks, trained professionals toil,
To keep the peace and tamp down foreign turmoil.
But for Greek ambassador,
Trump picked an artful dodger —
The grifting, drunken blackmailer Kimberly Guilfoyle.

“One woman at a rally in New Jersey told me last week that she was ‘nauseously optimistic.’ That may capture a lot of people’s last-minute jitters.”
— Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), quoted by Axios, on what Democrats feel ahead of the midterm elections.
“I think Congress made a mistake not protesting turning the Rose Garden into what looks like the entrance to Liberace’s bathroom.”
— Former President Bill Clinton, quoted by The Wrap.
“Boy, they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. It feels like a real desperation play to me, because it has got zero basis in the law.”
— Republican election law expert Ben Ginsberg, quoted by Politico, on the Trump administration’s effort to invalidate Alaska’s election results.

A record number of women are running for state legislative seats this November, more than two-thirds of whom are Democrats, reports Florida Phoenix. Across the 46 states with legislative seats on the ballot, a total of 3,824 women are running — up from 2022’s previous record of 3,621 women candidates, according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University. Women make up 35.5% of all state legislative candidates this cycle. Currently, women hold about one-third of state legislative seats across the country — a record level of representation but nowhere near parity.

$1.4 billion
“Prediction markets about the 2026 midterm elections have surpassed $1.4 billion in trading volume as Election Day fast approaches,” CNN reports. “This year has seen massive growth in the prediction industry, where people can bet on real-world events like sports, entertainment and the weather. While small-scale election markets have been around for a while, they gained traction before the 2024 presidential election and have seen huge numbers for the 2026 midterms.”

G. Elliot Morris: “Low-knowledge 2024 voters say they backed Trump by 8 points, according to our poll. Today they give him a net job approval of ?27, a 35-point shift. Compare that to Trump’s approval rating among voters who got both questions right: These voters backed Harris by 1 point and now give Trump a net ?24 approval, a 23-point shift. … Low-information voters have moved against Trump at a higher rate than high-information voters, by 12 points.”

Love it, Romney is now a birther, so let us play mormonism for all it is worth, after all Romney’s dad was born in a Mexican mormon compound, this shaped his worldview right?
I have a question – how did Romney senior get to run for president when he was foreign born?
He wasn’t eligible. Unless some crooked politicians did cover up. Like with Obama. He was born in Kenya Africa while his father was schooled on foreign aide. He couldn’t produce a legitimate birth certificate. But the cover up allowed it. Obama went to college in America on foreign aide. But for some reason these areas of criminal activity are being swept under the rug. Just like bengazi. And the Obama platform setting them up for 13 hours of hell. Killing sealteam 6. We will never forget what this platform has done and cost America
Every word of that is a lie, including the “a’s” “an’s” and “the’s.”
Simple answer to your question: The elder Romney was a rich white guy therefore no one questioned his eligibility.
was mitt born in mexico and who was his mother
I’m not a wifer but if these facts are true it should be investigated. Like what about that secret compound outside Provo that some say Romney visits frequently? No pictures yet but I heard there’s a video of several women with retro hairdos and pioneer dresses planting corn in the yard. Not saying it’s true but it’s on the internet (well it is now). Of course a polygamist in the White House wouldn’t be as bad as a foreign born Kenyan Muslim. We’ve seen what a disaster that is. It might be kind of fun to have a First Lady and a Second Lady and a Third Lady. . . And if there was a televised tour of the White House like Jackie Kennedy did, it would be a group tour. And each First Lady could take on a different cause or charity. Think how much good a half dozen First Ladies could do. And what about a White House wedding? If Mitt decided to take on another one we could see a sitting President married in the Rose Garden with all the other sister wives as bridesmades. Yes, I would like to see Mitt prove beyond doubt that he has only one wife (I’ll believe it when I see the original marriage certificate). But a Mormon polygamist in the White House could be loads of fun!
Mormon’s give me the creeps and who the hell lives in a compound?
Polygamy just freaks me out! With all the sex-traffic, treating young girls and women like cheep merchandise, how could we, as Americans, dare to consider such an insult to our American heritage by electing a possible polygamist to represent our great country.
Thank you!
