One more about Haggard: One of Pastor Ted’s colleagues — Pastor Mark Driscoll of Seattle’s Mars Hills megachurch — believes he knows why ministers seek sexual relations outside the home. It’s their wives’ fault:

It is not uncommon to meet pastors’ wives who really let themselves go; they sometimes feel that because their husband is a pastor, he is therefore trapped into fidelity, which gives them cause for laziness.
A wife who lets herself go and is not sexually available to her husband in the ways that the Song of Songs is so frank about is not responsible for her husband’s sin, but she may not be helping him either.”
Yeah, that must be it. Pastor Ted regularly bought sex from at least one male prostitute because his wife Gayle is a frump.

after 23 years preaching on TV every week on the topic of gays and the Bible it is still hard for me to figure out how any one can possibly think a str8 man for any reason would do gay sex. For anyone to do gay sex is generally for 2 reasons. first and formost they are gay or bisexual whether they admit it or not and needed an excuse to meet same sex. The other reason is belief in a system such as religion that incorperates fertility rites. Usuallly and often the male partner (fertility prostitute) of a str8 man would dress as a woman and as much as cut off their private parts to aid the str8 man’s worshipping in the fertility sexual rite.
To offer an idea that the wife is to blame is really quite stupid and ignorance of human nature. A str8 man would cheat on his wife no matter the consequences (ie recent NEWS of the admission from a person that campaigned to be president of the US). A str8 man is not ever going to go to a gay man for sex because of bad marrital issues in his life. A str8 man will go to his neighbor’s wife even if she was a monster before considering sex with another man. This is a no brainer, tell me people that really think str8 men go to gayswhere do you do your research?
