FIORINA: [Lawter?] saw Barbara Boxer briefly on television this morning and said what everyone says, “God, what is that hair? (Cackles) Soo yesterday.”
Earlier, at the top of the video, she says she’s puzzled that her frenemy Meg Whitman, the former eBay CEO who won the GOP gubernatorial spot on Tuesday, had scheduled an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
FIORINA: I find it surprising that on the first day of the general, Meg Whitman’s going on Sean Hannity. Did you hear that?
OFF-CAMERA VOICE: That’s weird.
FIORINA: It’s bizarre. I mean, she’s never been on Sean Hannity.
OFF-CAMERA VOICE: [Indistinct.]
FIORINA: I think it’s a very bad choice, actually. You know how he is.
This is so bad it’s like an unguarded moment “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” diary-cam. So much for the “year of the woman.”
A gaffe like this on day one of her campaign does not bode well for Fiorina, a political novice who is funding her campaign with the $21 million she received when she was fired as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard in 2005.
In one instance, she criticized health insurance companies who covered Viagra but not birth control, only to discover that her candidate, Sen. John McCain, had voted to prevent birth control from being covered. Fiorina also assured voters that McCain had never called for the reversal of Roe v. Wade, when, in fact, he had.
Perhaps her biggest gaffe during the presidential campaign came when she was asked whether she thought the vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, could run a big corporation like Hewlett-Packard.
“No, I don’t,” Fiorina replied. “But that’s not what she’s running for. Running a corporation is a different set of things.” Later, when she tried to walk back her criticism of Palin, she made it worse by saying that Sen. McCain didn’t have the skills to run a corporation either. Not long afterward, Fiorina disappeared from the campaign.
Despite the criticism of Palin during the presidential campaign, Palin — who is not popular in California — endorsed Fiorina in the primary, much to the disappointment of Fiorina’s tea bagger opponent, Chuck DeVore.
It is going to be a catfight…I fear the sheep’s eyes. Meow

Yeah because the “girl’s high school gym teacher” haircut is so much more today.
I’m not so much concerned about Senator Boxer’s hair as I am about the damage that Fiorina would do if she won the election in November. She would be just another senator who votes along party lines instead of voting in a way that benefits the American people.
