Clueless: Apparently, Rep. Jean Schmidt did not know that Rep. Jack Murtha was a Marine and a Vietnam war vet when she called him a coward on the House floor last Friday:
Several Republicans who were on the House floor said afterward that Ms. Schmidt did not appear to know she was referring to a much-decorated veteran.
“The poor lady didn’t know Jack Murtha was a Marine – she really just ran into a hornet’s nest,” said Representative Jack Kingston of Georgia.
Representative David Dreier of California said, “Very clearly, she did not know that Jack Murtha was a Marine.”
How could she not know this? Every news report about Murtha’s about-face on Iraq mentioned his status as a pro-military Dem.
She’s called “mean Jean” back home in Cincinatti, which is nicer than the more accurate “stupid Jean,” we suppose.
Whether Mean Jean knew Murtha was a decorated vet or not, misses the issue. Republicans routinely call names — vicious ones — whenever they disagree with anyone. Go back to the video they produced on Clinton calling him everything from a rapist to a drug dealer. Truth, fair play, ethics, have nothing to do with anything. The only thing that matters is winning and accumulating more power. Sometimes their charges are so clearly disgusting that they create a backlash. But mostly, they get away with it and then we have to hear it again and again and again in places like FOX Fake News, Rush Runs off at the Mouth and other black-tongued drooling idiots.

AND PEOPLE NEED TO WALK A MILE IN PEOPLES SHOES LIKE KERRY AND MURPHA!!! THEN THEY GOT A LITTLE MORE PERSPECTIVE OF THE SITUATION ESPECIALLY REPUBLICANS THAT ARE FOR ONLY THE RICH!!!!!!!
