Three actions in the video lead me to believe that the protester did spit at the Representative:
1. Cleaver flinches
2. Cleaver wipes his face
3. Cleaver returns to the scene
Otherwise, I suspect that he would have brushed off a lesser incident.
But Cleaver’s a Methodist minister, and you know how they are — such liars!
This video has been shown on many media outlets and if this is your “proof”, keep trying. If there was any spit at all coming from this man, it may have been normal spittle produced when someone shouts using words that perhaps being with P or S or SH or CH. And notice the delay from when the man was shouting to when this Cleaver looks at his hand then “wipes” his face. This is your evidence? Come on! Oh and as for the “he’s a Methodist minister, they don’t lie” comments, really? REALLY? He’s a politician and they DO lie. Should I go down the list of famous Dem / lefty ministers? Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakan, Jeremiah Wright…must I go on? And when you look at the context of this “march”, you know that they had to have accusations of this type of behavior or else it would not complete their image of the re-enactment of the Selma civil rights march that they were going for here. Our Democratic leaders really do think we are that stupid. Apparently they were right about many here.
Your sheets are showing. Proof that you are reflexively racist: You smear Rep. Cleaver without any evidence that he is a liar and lump him in with a group of religious leaders all of whom are black and none of whom are notorious for lying. You could have included white Republican preachers who are proven miscreants like Jim Bakker, Ted Haggard, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.
But the biggest liars of recent times aren’t on your list. They’re your heroes: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck and especially Sarah Palin, who rivals Bush as worst of the lot.
