More Americans Support Impeachment, Removal
45% to 38%
Americans by a 45% to 38% plurality now support a vote by the House of Representatives to impeach President Trump, a USA Today/Ipsos Poll finds, as allegations continue to swirl around an embattled White House. By a similar margin, 44% to 35%, those surveyed say the Senate, which would then be charged with holding a trial of the president, should convict Trump and remove him from office.

Poll: Two-Thirds Oppose Impeachment
59%
A new Monmouth poll finds just 35% of Americans feel that President Trump should be impeached and compelled to leave the presidency while a clear majority — 59% — disagree with this course of action. The survey finds Trump’s approval at a dismal 40% to 53%.
Pelosi Wants to See Trump in Prison, Not Impeached
“I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison.”

A new CNN poll finds voters have grown more supportive of impeachment, but that 54% of respondents overall were still against it.
Keep The Story Straight: What Mueller Said Was That It’s Out of His Hands
If you’re already seeing the spin crop up in your friends’ social media posts, keep them straight. Mueller didn’t say what the Trump team claims. He did NOT say, as Sarah Sanders did:
The report was clear—there was no collusion, no conspiracy—and the Department of Justice confirmed there was no obstruction.
Sanders is correct if by, “Department of Justice” you mean only Attorney General William Barr.
What Mueller himself said is that he investigated what he was engaged to look into, and that it’s not his place to indict the president. In fact, only Congress can take action on the misdeeds of a president. And that’s called impeachment.
